About Nuvolk
Nuvolk evaluates field service management software for operations running one to ten technicians — electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and small contracting work. The focus is on what a tool does, what it does not do, and what it costs, for shops at that size specifically.
The first page of search results for these tools is occupied almost entirely by the vendors themselves, ranking their own category. This site exists because there was no independent source in it.
Scope
One to ten technicians. Enterprise platforms are out of scope and stay out. A product sold on a quoted per-technician contract to a hundred-truck operation is not competing for the same decision as a product a three-person shop signs up for on a Tuesday, and putting them on one list would flatter both.
How We Evaluate
From public documents: the vendor’s own pricing page, its documentation, its changelog, and its terms of service. Every claim is linked to the source it came from, and every price carries the date it was read.
Published pricing is treated as a criterion, not a convenience. A vendor that does not publish a price is evaluated as a vendor that does not publish a price. An operation with four technicians cannot compare a number it has to book a sales call to receive, and the cost of finding out is part of the cost.
The full method, including what this site refuses to do, is on How We Evaluate. That page is the canonical statement — everything here is a summary of it.
What We Do Not Do
We do not run these tools in a live field operation, and nothing here is written as though we do. Where a conclusion would require putting a real dispatch board through a real season, that is stated as the limit of the evaluation rather than papered over.
We do not accept review accounts, trials arranged with a vendor, or payment for placement. No vendor sees a piece before it is published.
Corrections Policy
If something here is wrong, email us. We review reports within seven days. Corrections are made in the piece and logged with the date and what changed — we do not silently edit a published claim.
Prices go stale faster than anything else here. A piece that quotes one carries the date its figures were last checked, and the site refuses to publish that piece once the date is more than ninety days old.
Who Runs This
Nuvolk is written and edited by Roger Mat, responsible editor.
No credentials are claimed here. No certification, no professional title, and no number of years of experience is asserted anywhere on this site, because none has been established. What is offered instead is public documents read carefully, with the sources attached and the date they were read. For a purchase that will run your scheduling for years, read the terms yourself before signing.

How We Make Money
Some pieces include affiliate links, disclosed at the point they appear rather than in a footer. Order is never influenced by commission: a tool with no affiliate program can come out first, and when it does, the piece says so.
The share of first-place picks that run an affiliate program is measured on every build and published on How We Evaluate, so the claim can be checked rather than taken.
